The Child Care Human Resources Sector Council (CCHRSC) has partnered with the Early Childhood Community Development Centre (ECCDC) to produce the Occupational Standards for Child Care Administrators and Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) Checklists.
These new tools use a checklist format that allows practitioners to evaluate themselves on their job tasks and reflect on their skills, knowledge and abilities. Practitioners can then develop a plan to strengthen their competency in each task.
These self‐assessment checklist booklets are intended to be used in order to identify areas of strength and those needing further development according to the tasks and rating scale outlined in the Occupational Standards for Child Care Administrators and ECEs and associated materials.
