ECEs have been taking care of our families at poverty-level wages for decades - it's time we get loud and take care of theirs.

Save the date! Child Care Now Nova Scotia is bringing families together to get loud for ECEs at a family-friendly event to remind government that we cannot continue to wait to rollout the compensation framework and benefits packages. ECEs need action now.

The advocacy cannot continue to fall on the back of ECEs alone. The Child Care Now Nova Scotia Parent Working group meets again on Monday, June 20th to continuing planning this event.

  • Identify and understand roles and responsibilities of early learning practitioners

  • Identify key requirements for employment in licensed child care centres and Pre primary programs
