International Women's Day 2020 - Did you know? [1]

Did you know...? On IWD 1986, a landmark federal report recommendation a universal child care system. Its 53 recommendations were based on the 400 page report and 25 background reports. It said "...sound child care and parent leave are no longer a frill but a fundamental support for all families". It recommended, in long term, a "system of licensed child care fully funded out of public revenues". Can't have equality for women without universal child care CRRU wishes you a Happy International Women's Day2020
