Katrina Chen is the Minister of State for Child Care in British Columbia since 2017.

First elected as a B.C. Member of the Legislative Assembly in 2017, Minister Chen represents the BC NDP in the riding of Burnaby-Lougheed. She was also a school trustee on the Burnaby Board of Education and for over a decade, she worked in provincial and federal constituency offices.

Her father was a City Councillor in Taichung, Taiwan.
