Description: This publication explains the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to children. Its main purpose is to empower children, with and without disabilities, to play their part in challenging discrimination and promoting the Convention's principles. There is a summary of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in this book along with the reasons for it being created. It is aimed at informing people about everyone's rights and responsibilities, and about the steps and actions governments must take to help children with disabilities realize their rights. It also addresses what individuals can do to make a difference.
