Description:

Today, Canada's fathers are redefining what it means to be a Dad, carving out new roles and responsibilities, leaving behind the ‘detached male as breadwinner' model and engaging more directly in all aspects of family life. These men are much more likely than those who came before them to take parental and paternity leave with the birth of a child, to participate regularly in unpaid housework and child care and to leave the workforce behind altogether as a stay-at-home Dad.
