EXCERPTS:

Kids & Company, a chain based in Ontario, will operate a new child care facility in the Brewery District, according to a release from Wesgroup Properties, the project's developers.

The facility will be based on the ground floor of the newly constructed mixed-use building that will house the new TransLink and Transit Police headquarters. Expected to open in early 2013 with a 3,400 square foot outdoor playground, it will have spaces for approximately 64 children.

The Sapperton child care facility will be Kids & Company's fourth Lower Mainland location and 45th in Canada.
