Take from StartStrong Ireland:

Following on from the European Commission's recommendation on child poverty and child well-being, Investing in children: Breaking the cycle of disadvantage [3], Eurochild and EAPN (the European Anti-Poverty Network) have jointly published an "explainer" on child poverty and the EU. The "explainer" is an accessible publication that aims to challenge many of the myths around child poverty, and to highlight effective solutions. It was launched in April at a conference in Dublin co-hosted by the Children's Rights Alliance, EAPN and UNICEF Ireland, as part of the Irish EU Presidency.
