Abstract :

This social vision paper was written on behalf of the Coalition of National Voluntary Organizations, the Canadian Council on Social Development and United Way Canada. It discusses the constitutional, political, social and economic context of social development and identifies key directions in social policy for the future. The paper sets out a vision of vibrant communities which provide support, promote inclusion and encourage learning.
