The Ontario Alternative Budget (OAB) Working Group has developed alternatives to the Common Sense Revolution of the Harris Government. The OAB recognizes the importance of early childhood care and education and proposes the phase-in of an Ontario Early Years Program, combining $5 a child care reform, guaranteed access through a major expansion of the system, and a seamless day approach which integrates child care and kindergarten.
