Forest School Canada is a national education initiative of the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada, and is striving to become a not-for-profit organization in the upcoming months.

Our mission is to foster rich learning experiences, ecological literacy, and healthy living by connecting children to nature through the use of the Forest School model in the early, primary, and secondary years.

We have big dreams. We envision Forest School programs as integral to every school in Canada, whether they're in rural, urban, or suburban settings. We seek to create and support a national community of practice in Forest School education, and to be linked with an international community that exemplifies best practices.
