Day-care owners will have an opportunity to voice their opinions on a potential federal child-care grant or tax credit at a meeting on Aug. 29 or 30 at 100 6th Ave. S.W.

The Calgary Chamber of Commerce will hold the meeting with Alberta Children's Services at the end of the month to discuss the future of child-care spaces in Calgary. Suggestions and concerns gathered at the meeting will be sent to the Harper government.

The government is considering offering a one-time tax credit or grant to businesses that are trying to open up more spaces Reserve a spot through: jburgener@calgarychamber.com.
