The New Zealand arm of the failed Australian childcare company ABC Learning Centres Ltd said credible buyers have made offers for the business. ABC Developmental Learning Centres (NZ) Ltd said a number of offers for all 127 centres in New Zealand are now being considered.

"The potential buyers are all highly credible and have significant experience in the New Zealand early childhood education sector," said general manager Craig Presland.
