Harriet Harman hit a nerve when she accused David Cameron of a 'gloating session' during Prime Minister's Questions - as he dodged hard questions on the cost of childcare.
The acting Labour leader grilled Cameron over an election pledge to increase the amount of free childcare offered to working parents.
She raised concerns that childcare providers would increase the fees they charge on top of the free hours to compensate for under-funding from the government.

But the Prime Minister dodged the question - noting with a grin that parents would be "relieved" that Labour lost the election, a reference to remarks Harman made recently.
Harman shot back a withering response, saying: "He just can't help himself but gloat, can he? Go right ahead and gloat, but why shouldn't he just answer the question on childcare?"
But Cameron carried on regardless, saying: "I'm sorry if the honorable lady thinks I'm gloating. It must be the first time anyone's been accused of gloating while quoting the leader of the opposition."
The childcare system faces 'meltdown', according to industry figures, after it emerged that the increase from 15 to 30 hours of free childcare a week will cause a £354m funding shortfall.
The government pays childcare providers £3.88 an hour per child, less than the £4.53 an hour providers say it costs to provide care.
The Prime Minister has been criticised in recent weeks for failing to answer questions during his weekly grilling - and been accused of asking more questions than he answers.
But he appeared to rein it in during today's session, after Harman landed an early hit.
After he mockingly thanked Labour MPs for voting in favour of his EU referendum bill, Harman added: "Can I just say, he won the election. He doesn't need to do ranting and sneering and gloating. He can just answer the question, and frankly he should show a bit more class."
