EXCERPTS

New Brunswick parents are being invited to complete an online survey on child care in the province, as part of public consultations being conducted by a task force on the issue.

The task force has been meeting with child-care operators and educators throughout the province.

Its mandate is to find a way to create the right conditions for child care and to suggest ways to address the challenges parents face in obtaining access to high-quality and affordable child-care services.

The survey, which is available online until November 2, will give parents and guardians a chance to speak out about what kind of child care they are looking for, what they have found, what works and what doesn’t work in the current system.
