In Episode 22 of Ellected, host Sarah Elder-Chamanara talks with Alberta's Minister of Children's Services Rebecca Schulz about the $3.8 billion child care deal she signed with Ottawa in November 2021 that will see Albertans paying an average of $10 per day for child care by 2026.

Rebecca Schulz was elected to Alberta's Legislative Assembly on April 16, 2019, as the MLA for Calgary-Shaw. A wife and proud mother of two young children, she has master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. Rebecca was appointed as Alberta’s Minister of Children’s Services on April 30, 2019.

Sarah Elder-Chamanara is the founder, creative director and owner of Madame Premier, a feminist and political clothing company based in Calgary, Alberta. With the underlying principle of seeing more women and diversity in politics, elected and in backrooms, at every level, Madame Premier creates the opportunity for conversations about why politics needs to change. Madame Premier has been featured in the National Post, CBC, Forbes and Toronto Star. Sarah opened Madame Premier’s first retail location in 2021 in Calgary.
