Excerpts
The State of Licensed Child Care Forum takes place May 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Delta Hotel in Guelph, with a virtual attendance option also available.
For many families, child care is not just a logistics question. It is tied to work, routines, affordability, and the search for an environment that meets their child’s developmental needs. As demand continues to outpace available spaces, families are balancing the need for access with the importance of finding high quality care that gives caregivers confidence.
Hosted by Wellington County’s Children’s Early Years Division, in its role as Service System Manager for licensed child care in Wellington-Guelph, the forum is designed for caregivers and future families who want a clearer picture of the local licensed child-care landscape.
