How do they weigh the interconnected issues of employment, child care and family life in arriving at a course of action? For those who do enter the paid workforce, what role does child care play in supporting their continued attachment to employment and helping them achieve increased responsibilities in their jobs? These are the main issues this study set out to explore, using first hand stories and experience of lone mother themselves.
