In the winter of 2014 the government of Ontario proposed some similar changes under the then Day Nurseries Act and Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007. The posting of these proposed changes can be found here. In response to this, CRRU released a BRIEFing NOTE, Proposed changes to child care regulations - Ontario 2014, to provide background information and to outline the regulation changes. These proposed changes were withdrawn in the spring of 2014.
