Re:Early learners need teachers
As a parent of two children who went through the public kindergarten system I would have to say that I completely disagree with Sam Hammond's statements. Neither of my children fared well in their kindergarten programs but instead flourished from the developmentally appropriate early learning program they were fortunate to be exposed to. My children's certified teachers did not have the patience, understanding or knowledge needed to ensure their later success in Grade 1.
