The Thomas Coram Research Unit at the The Institute of Education for the University of London, England presents a conference on a new book publication by Peter Moss and Pat Petrie. They will be joined by practitioners and researchers from a variety of fields to discuss new approaches to working with children and young people.

Peter Moss provides an overview of a new approach
to working with children and young people.
Pat Petrie considers a new way of working and a new
occupation - pedagogy and the pedagogue
11.35 - Panel: Haki Kapasi (play); Linda Kinney (early years);
John McKendrick (childhood research); Marilyn
Mitchell (school) and a panel member from social
work (to be announced).
12.15 - Open discussion: questions and comments

children and young people. Each workshop will be
introduced by a panel member
