This voluntary, self-administered survey was introduced as a replacement for the cancelled, mandatory Long Form Census, more widely known as Census Form 2B.

The 2011 National Household Survey analytical documents provide a national overview of key findings from the 2011 National Household Survey. Where applicable, this analysis is complemented with short articles on specific topics of interest in the NHS in Brief series.
