Excerpts from survey introduction

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the lives and habits of all Canadians, yet data on the impacts to children and their families is limited. This survey will provide information on how the pandemic is affecting families with children under the age of 15, and how they are adjusting to the challenges of this new reality.

If you are the parent or guardian of children aged 0 to 14, please take a few minutes to share your insights. This questionnaire focuses on children's activities, child care and school, employment status, and your concerns for your family's overall well-being.

This information will be used by government organizations, such as the Public Health Agency of Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada, as well as other levels of government and types of organizations to evaluate the delivery of services and support to families during and after the pandemic.

Please be advised that information from partially completed or unsaved questionnaires may also be retained and used.

Your information may also be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes.

Although voluntary, your participation is important so that the information collected is as accurate and complete as possible.
