Description from Fernwood:

This video and manual brings together the knowledge, skills and understanding required for early childhood professionals and parents to respond proactively on issues of racism. It supports equitable access for parents from culturally diverse backgrounds, and a range of programming activities and strategies for all children.

This professional resource includes a 45-minute video (VHS, CD or DVD) and a 90-page training manual. It was developed specifically for early childhood educators to use as a stimulus for discussion around issues of inclusion. It delivers programming activities to support all children and describes culturally appropriate care practices.
