Early learning and child care engagement
Government of British Columbia, December 2021
As British Columbia advances its Childcare BC Plan, the Ministries of Children and Family Development and Education want to hear from a broad range of child care partners – from child care providers, community service partners, parent organizations, school districts and child care advocates. For that purpose, the province is hosting a series of activities including a virtual information session, a self-paced feedback session, and a virtual workshop. Feedback collected throughout this engagement will be used to support decision-making on the future of early learning and child care in BC and results of consultation will be shared publicly.

2021 BC Child Care Workforce Survey
Early Childhood Educators of BC
The BC Child Care Workforce Survey is part of a sector-led evaluation of the British Columbia government's Early Care and Learning Recruitment and Retention Strategy. All individuals working in, or certified to work in, early care and learning are invited to respond to this survey to inform reports submitted to the province of British Columbia around issues affecting the recruitment and retention and help ensure that the views of the child care workforce are well represented. The survey is open until November 22, 2021.
